Bringing Culture to Life: Induction Films & Onboarding

As Onward Homes continued to grow across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside and Lancashire, their employee induction process wasn't keeping pace. With thousands of homes to manage and an expanding workforce to match, new starters were joining without a consistent, engaging introduction to what Onward truly stands for — enabling people to be their best, in homes they love and places they are proud of. The onboarding experience needed to reflect that purpose meaningfully, not just tick a box.

We partnered with Onward Homes to develop a comprehensive induction programme combining filmed video content with a suite of printed and designed materials. The films brought Onward's purpose to life, showcasing real homes, real communities, and the real impact their work has across the North West. Supporting print materials gave new starters something tangible to take away, reinforcing the values and culture they'd seen on screen. Alongside this, we helped develop content for an internal onboarding system, bringing all the produced materials together in one place and making them readily accessible to new starters throughout the onboarding process. Together, the assets created a coherent, inspiring welcome that set the tone from day one.
